Her Story
Let’s face it, a dog trainer is much more effective when fit. In fact, speed and strength saved my fanny just last week—a teeny Chihuahua I was training decided to take on a much larger Staffordshire Terrier. Thankfully, I was able to leap into hyperspace while simultaneously lifting little Alfie to safety in my arms and controlling the Terrier with my feet.
I could not have protected the Chihuahua without Kenneth’s booming voice in my head (“RUN FASTER!”), my newly acquired martial art moves from Jake, Allison’s strength workouts, and the steady encouragement of my Bootcamp sisters.
Speaking of my Bootcamp sisters, you really need them when you're tackling those wall climbs or sprinting up stairs! And, trust me, they are there for you.
I would tell anyone interested in Bootcamp to just get started, keep coming for the first two weeks, and then you'll be hooked. It's amazing how quickly your body changes with these workouts.
